S|L|AVE by Eleni Theodoridou & Music performance by Julien Cox

The X-Dream Festival returns for the fourth consecutive year, following the great success of previous years.  This time it begins with a performance entitled “S|L|AVE” by Eleni Theodoridou (Greece) on Sunday, 9 December 2012 at 20:30.  It continues on the same evening with Julien Cox (France) performance of electronic music. 

S|L|AVE

I am a servant of moral ignorance, selfishness and villainy.

and I started to love my shackles.

but you who hold the chain, are you freer?

the performer as a decadent idol of yesteryear,

asks of the viewers not for the attention and money as before

but for other basic foodstuffs

that she will gather with reverence

Eleni Theodoridou was born in Thessaloniki, where she studied at the Education Faculty of the Aristotle University, learnt drawing at the workshop Praxis and various other things depending on the weather.  She moved to Athens and studied film, and since then she directs, writes scripts, does performances, grows cats and still dreams of working at the circus when she grows up.

The performance by Julien Cox includes traditional sounds and goes on a journey of different styles of electronic music…

Eclectic to the end, Julien contributed to a ballet within the collective Hall of Kids, worked on the soundtrack of a show at the Fashion Week in Paris and has recently integrated and collective FHD Just A Trip.

Σε συνέχεια της μεγάλης επιτυχίας του X-Dream Festival των προηγούμενων χρόνων, το φεστιβάλ επιστρέφει για τέταρτη συνεχή χρονιά.  Αυτή τη φορά το φεστιβάλ ξεκινά με το performance με τίτλο “S|L|AVE” της Ελένης Θεοδωρίδου (Ελλάδα) την Κυριακή, 9 Δεκεμβρίου 2012 και ώρα 20:30.  Συνέχεια δίνει στις 21:00 ο Julien Cox (Γαλλία) με ένα performance ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής.   

S|L|AVE

είμαι δούλος της ηθικής άγνοιας, του ατομισμού και της αχρειότητας.

και άρχισα να αγαπάω τα δεσμά μου.

αλλά εσύ που κρατάς την αλυσίδα μου είσαι πιο ελεύθερος;

η performer σαν ένα ξεπεσμένο είδωλο του χτες,

ζητάει από τους θεατές,
όχι την προσοχή και τα χρήματα τους όπως παλιά,

αλλά βασικά είδη διατροφής,

που θα μαζέψει με ευλάβεια.

Η Ελένη Θεοδωρίδου γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη, όπου και σπούδασε στην Παιδαγωγική  Σχολή του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου, ζωγραφική στο εργαστήρι Πράξις και άλλα διάφορα αναλόγως με τον καιρό.  Μετακόμισε στην Αθήνα και σπούδασε κινηματογράφο, και από τότε σκηνοθετεί, γράφει σενάρια, κάνει performance, μεγαλώνει γάτες και ακόμα ονειρεύεται όταν μεγαλώσει να δουλέψει στο τσίρκο.

Το performance του Julien Cox (Γαλλία) συμπεριλαμβάνει πιο παραδοσιακούς ήχους και ταξιδεύει σε διάφορα στυλ ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής…

Εκλεκτικός μέχρι τέλους, ο Julien Cox συνέβαλε στο μπαλέτο μέσα από τη κολεκτίβα Hall of Kids, εργάστηκε για το soundtrack μιας παρουσίασης για το Fashion Week στο Παρίσι και έχει πρόσφατα ενταχθεί στην FHD Just A Trip.
